  • Manik Godhwani
    Global Head of Digital & Ecommerce, T2, Unilever

    A digital & retail native, Manik brings with him over 11 years of global experience in leading ecommerce businesses and launching new digital products. After moving to Australia, Manik moved to Australia and joined the largest eCommerce retailer – Catch.com.au, where he launched the marketplace & also revamped the website. He also led the launch of luxury travel website, Bon Voyage. From there Manik moved to T2 tea – a Unilever company as Global Head of eCommerce leading digital & omni-channel strategy across APAC, Europe and North America. Manik is widely known for his expertise in connecting the dots between customers, business & technology. He has been a proud recipient of GSMA App of the Year award at MWC, Barcelona and recently got featured in "Top 50 people in eCommerce".

  • Stuart Harker
    Chairman / Board Director / Strategic Retail Advisor, Slyp / Aisleplus

    Stuart was a senior Retail and Consumer Goods Strategy and Operations partner in PwC for over 25 years.  Until recently, he was the Global Retail & Consumer Goods Advisory Leader for 10 years and prior to this role the Asia Pac Leader.

    Stuart is a global SME  in strategy, operations, customer, digital, technology, merchandising and performance improvement. 

    He was the author of the Connected Retail and Consumer thought leadership series across the world in PwC.

    Stuart has worked extensively with senior management teams and Boards across Australia, Asia and the UK.

    He was recently awarded the Warwick Shedden Memorial Trophy for his contribution to the Large Format Retail Association.

    Stuart is a regular commentator in the market and in the media on trends to the retail and has worked on some of the major retailer and consumer goods organisations around the world.

    Since retiring from PwC, Stuart is the Chairman of Slyp and Director of  Aisleplus. He is also a strategic advisor to a number of organisations.

  • Marcella Larsen
    Australian Retail Industry Development Executive, Microsoft

    Marcella Larsen leads Retail Industry focus to inspire digital transformation in consumer facing industries for Australia.  Marcella is responsible for managing platform agnostic cloud and cross channel focused growth strategies in the industries of Retail, Travel, Hospitality and Consumer Goods.  She oversees retail, travel, transport and consumer goods industry solutions, go to market strategies, partnerships, marketing, solution development, thought leadership and customer relations to ensure the full extent of Microsoft’s industry visions and value propositions are realised locally.  Marcella brings almost 22 years of deep customer, vertical technology, sales and marketing experience to this role.

    Prior to this role Marcella was the Australian lead for the Application Platform and Data Analytics Business Group.  During her years at Microsoft she has held key worldwide positions in Redmond, the US subsidiary and Australia in international trade, public relations, community affairs, operations, marketing and product management across the organization. Before joining Microsoft Marcella began a career in Retail during university at Abercrombie & Fitch and secured her first full time role in international trade working with Samsung as a client in South Korea.

    Marcella has a strong track record in developing and growing business, is results oriented, with a multidisciplinary approach for business planning.  She is experienced in marketing, business development, supply chain operations, international trade, finance, and product management.

    Marcella holds studied at the University of Washington in Seattle and holds a liberal arts degree in International Studies and Economics from the University of Oregon in the USA.  She currently resides in Sydney Australia with her two daughters. She recently participated in the Westfield Global Retail Study Tour, has hosted several Microsoft Retail Study Tours and has completed a number of  INSEAD’s Business Model Innovation and Kellogg Executive Marketing Executive study courses.

  • Mark Ward
    Managing Director (retired), Office Works

    Mark Ward was appointed Managing Director of Officeworks in 2007 following the Wesfarmers acquisition of Coles Group.

    Since that time Officeworks has grown to be Australia's leading retailer and supplier of office products and solutions for home, workplace and education needs. Officeworks has more than 165 stores nationally, an online platform with more than 40,000 products and employs more than 7000 team members.

    With more than 35 years’ retailing experience, including leadership roles at McEwans Hardware and Bunnings Warehouse, Mark brings a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of retail and over the last 11 years has overseen continued strong growth at Officeworks.

    Mark will retire from Officeworks at the end of 2018 but will remain with the Wesfarmers Group working on several projects, including leading a group-wide safety improvement project.

    Mark is also a Director of the Richmond Football Club and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD).
